Marina Abramova Being a Co-Author of The Case Law of Collective Bodies of FAS of Russia. Book Three

The Federal Antitrust Service of Russia (“FAS”) and the Association of Antitrust Experts, with support of AGP and other market actors, have issued the third book of The Case Law of Collective Bodies of FAS of Russia. Marina Abramova, head of Antitrust Law at AGP, once again took part in preparation of the issue.

Marina contributed her comments on the FAS Letter of October 26, 2018, No. РП/86694/18, “On application of concession legislation in the context of making a concession agreement”, discussing application of the provisions of the Concession Agreement Law that facilitate creation of advantageous conditions for some participants of a competition or conditions limiting unreasonably the pool of participants; uniform requirements for parties initiating entry into a concession agreement and other persons applying for participating in the competition for a proposed concession agreement; and competition applications from other persons whishing to participate in the competition.

The third book also provides:

  • Latest explanations and decisions of the Presidium of FAS;
  • Expert comments by representatives of FAS, Association of Antitrust Experts, Moscow Higher School of Economics and leading antitrust specialists;
  • Overview of the antitrust case law of the FAS collective bodies (for the period from July 1, 2018 through July 1, 2019).
