Yury is Counsel at AGP and has an extensive track record in corporate, IP, forex, tax and competition law, project finance etc. His case portfolio includes legal review and drafting memoranda, legal opinions, corporate charters and pre-incorporation agreements and other contracts related to various fields of law. Yury contributed to legal support for a number of major foreign and multinational corporations with fuel, energy, processing and smelting operations in Russia.

In the context of corporate law, Yury supported incorporations, restructurings and foreign private direct investments, advised on corporate governance and did legal due diligence.

Yury has in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in project financing and capital markets. His focus areas include support for purchases and sales of large equity holdings, attendant paperwork, large corporate restructurings and joint corporate governance.

Yury's litigation background includes advocacy in bankruptcy, real property, privatization in various courts.

Yury also represented clients in numerous disputes before international arbitration forums. He is on the list of recommended arbitrators at the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Contributed to the formation of foreign-owned companies and joint ventures in Russia, specifically a building materials JV and a crude transport equipment JV.

nvolved in due diligence on a Russian manufacturer of electrical equipment in the context of its acquisition by a major French company, as well as due diligence on a major agricultural producer in Russia for potential local investors.

Contributed to the legal support for a project of a major Russian manufacturer to set up joint ventures in the CIS.

Contributed to legal opinions for major banks in the USA, the UK and Germany in the context of loans to Russian companies totalling several hundred million dollars, as well as issue and offering of debt securities of Russian companies in the US and Western Europe.

Contributed to paperwork to incorporate a holding company for a Russian and a German major to cooperate in the production of auto components and assemblies.
