Valentin Moiseev was born in Moscow on March 28, 1981. In 2003 he graduated from the Higher School of Economics (Moscow) and qualified as a finance lawyer and a certified legal translator. In 2008 he successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis on Duty as a Category of Finance Law at the Russian Academy of Justice. Member of the Moscow Bar since 2009.
From 2003 through 2009 Valentin Moiseev worked as a legal and tax advisor with major audit firms in Russia. Thereafter, until joining our Firm, he practiced as an independent attorney-at-law providing services for legal entities and individuals.
Mr. Moiseev’s professional experience includes successful representation of taxpayers such as gas and oil companies, food and trading companies, and exporters in arbitration proceedings, advice on Russian tax issues, tax support of M&A transactions and restructuring procedures, international tax planning for individuals and entities, advice and legal defense in the area of civil, labor, administrative and consumer protection laws.
