The recognition and enforcement of international arbitration awards illustrated by the action brought by Nikolay Maximov against NLMK was the subject of a detailed article by Dmitri Lubomudrov in Legal Insight, No. 2. On June 11, 2012 the Tribunal de Grande Instance in Paris issued an order recognizing the ICAC award to recover 9.5 billion rubles from NLMK in favor of N. Maximov. Legal Insight asked Dmitri Lubomudrov to comment on the existing situation.
