The article discusses the key changes to the Russian Civil Code introduced by the Federal Law “On Amendments to Chapters 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Part One of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation”, No. 302-FZ, which purports to improve and bring up to date the Russian civil legislation. Most of the amendments referred to in the article are effective as of March 1, 2013.
