Marina Abramova has been with AGP from day one. She has 30 years of legal experience in virtually all areas of Russian business law.

Ms. Abramova heads our Employment Law team and advises both international and Russian companies on complicated issues faced by employers in connection with amendment or termination of employment agreements, including those with expats, as well as pre-trial settlement of conflicts. She also performs audits of personnel-related records and represents companies during audits by government labor inspections, employment and migration authorities and the Russian Federal Agency for Consumer Protection.

Our Employment Law team headed by Marina Abramova has for many years been recognized among the leaders by most respected rankings.

A special focus in her areas of practice is on litigation in general jurisdiction courts and commercial courts, including labor disputes, real property disputes, disputes with public authorities and disputes arising from contracts. Her experience includes plenty of legal disputes resolved in favor of her clients.

Ms. Abramova’s hallmarks are ability to understand thoroughly the specifics of clients’ business, business-oriented approach to their legal issues and commitment to the outcome. She attacks an issue on all fronts, based on her deep knowledge of theory and vast hands-on experience.

Also, an important part of her professional activities is advising on antitrust law matters, client support in antitrust raids and proceedings. As a member of the Association of Antimonopoly Experts, Marina Abramova actively contributes to improving the Russian antitrust legislation.

Marina Abramova is a member of the Moscow Bar Association and also acts a member of the Qualifications Commission of the Moscow Bar Association.
