Dmitri Lubomudrov is the Managing Partner of AGP. He heads our Project Finance group and specializes in cross-border and project financing, M&A structuring and full-service support for mergers and acquisitions.
Dmitri possesses deep knowledge and vast experience in corporate and financial restructuring, elaboration of comprehensive contractual arrangements, formation of holding companies and joint ventures, both Russian and international, and supporting their project activities.
Throughout his professional career he has been providing advice to medium and large businesses in a wide variety of sectors, developed non-trivial asset management solutions and provided for asset sales and acquisitions in Russia and abroad.
Over the 28 years of his practice Dmitry advised multiple Russian and foreign clients including Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works, Microsoft, IBM, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and others.
Dmitri Lubomudrov also specializes in international private law and international arbitration. He has extensively represented AGP's clients in Russian and foreign proceedings, winning most of them. Dmitry's track record includes advocacy before the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in Stockholm, Zürich, Vienna and other arbitration forums.
Dmitri is a member of the Moscow Bar Association.
Represented investors in construction and property development projects in Moscow, including legal support for asset acquisitions and disposals, partnership (shareholder) structuring, dispute settlement, legal support for project finance and implementation, corporate and debt restructuring.
Provided full services for the acquisition of OAO Belon, a coal group (19 companies).
Supported the acquisition by OAO MMK of shares in a Turkish company for joint construction and operation of a smelter in Turkey.
Represented Microsoft in a global acquisition of Nokia's Device & Services arm by providing legal support for the acquisition of and integration into the Microsoft group of the Russian assets of the Finnish company.
Represented The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) in ten-plus secured loans provided by the corporation in various contexts.
