On March 28, 2025 Dmitry Yakushev spoke in a case-session of the annual legal forum organized by the oldest edition the Vedomosti, where speakers discussed various trends and bankruptcy related issues topical in 2025 and analyzed new standpoints of the RF Supreme Court.
Dmitry touched upon the problematics of the vital issue which anyone can encounter, namely: balancing interests when individual’s only housing is sold.
In his presentation Dmitry gave examples of typical corrupt practices related to the only housing, outlined criteria of a high-end lodging, and also told about cases where property can be excluded from debtor’s bankruptcy estate, and under what circumstances a court can refuse to apply such exclusion.
