VB Partners, a Russian investment company, has bought from the Italian-Japanese concern Marelli an automotive lighting plant.
The transfer of the 100% interest in the charter capital of Marelli Automotive Lighting Rus LLC was completed on October 3, 2024. This asset is going to be used for localized production of automobile lighting devices on the Russian market.
The plant which has been renamed and is now called Autolight Technology LLC is located in Ryazan. It manufactures headlights, turn lights and other lights and supplies them to AutoVAZ, GAZ, UAZ, Volkswagen and Renault carmakers. It uses the most up-to-date Western equipment thanks to which it is the leading enterprise in its focus area in this country.
VB Partners is a private investment company established in 2013. It engages in deal structuring, attracting investments, direct asset management and makes its own investments into traditional and new sectors of economy. It is currently owned by Russian investors Mikhail Broitman, Vagan Babloyan and Elena Orlova. The participants of the company are also co-founders of the Russian electromobile Atom project.
