Elena Gorodisskaya Is on Panel of Experts for IP Russia Awards

Recently the IP Russia Awards 2021 ceremony was held in Moscow. IPRA is Russia’s first competition of IP practitioners, which is conducted to big up the status of IP professionals and social importance of their intellectual effort. The IPRA competition was initiated by the Intellectual Property Forum organization committee in cooperation with the Intellectual Property Council of the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian State Academy for Intellectual Property. The competition is also supported and annually conducted under the aegis of the Russian Patent and Trademark Office and the Federal Industrial Property Institute.

This year Elena Gorodisskaya, head of AGP’s IP team, who is attorney at law, trademark attorney and reputed IP expert was invited to the IPRA panel of experts to assess projects of the competition participants.

When giving the award to the winner in IP Disputes, one of most challenging IP categories, Elena told:

“As a practicing attorney at law, I am especially glad to give the award in this particular category. Success of any dispute depends not only on the professional level of the supporting team, but also on the team’s creativity and capability to develop an appropriate strategy as well as their knowledge of pitfalls of procedural laws. I like almost all the disputes presented for assessment. Not only did they bring success in protecting the companies’ IP rights, but they also contributed substantially to the relevant case law.”
