The Firm acted as a special advisor on Russian environmental law matters for investment departments of the international banks Merrill Lynch, BOCI и USB AG, who organized Hong Kong IPO for IRC Limited (issuer), an iron ore division of the UK miner Petropavlovsk Plc., and for the issuer in October 2010. After several months of intensive work on the transaction the Firm’s lawyers completed the due diligence on more than ten IRC Limited companies for compliance with Russian environmental laws and regulations and issued a due diligence report for the IPO organizers and the issuer. The project was completed by a team of the Firm’s lawyers headed by attorney Mikhail Komissarov.
