On March 24, 2026 results of the ‘PRObankruptcy Leaders. Personal Rating of Lawyers’ were announced on the PRObankruptcy portal.
The central figures of the Bankruptcy practice team of Andrey Gorodissky & Partners Law Firm (AGP) are Dmitry Yakushev, Attorney and Counsel of the practice, who ranked in the highest Group 1, having thus improved his position in the rating against the previous year, and Alexey Gorodissky, Attorney and Partner of the firm, who entered Group 2 of the personal bankruptcy rating.
Dmitry Yakushev year after year actively contributes to development of our firm’s Bankruptcy practice. For more than 15 years now he has been handling complex litigations, providing full-service support in bankruptcy proceedings, and he has successfully completed a number of large-scale projects.
Dmitry protects interests of clients in secondary liability, deals contesting, losses recovery cases, and handles other isolated disputes.
Over the recent times, Dmitry devoted particular attention to the ‘Personal Assets Protection’ service: counselling businessmen, heads of companies on protection of their personal property and protecting their interests before courts. Also among highly-demanded services the ‘Bankruptcy Compliance’ (analyzing operations of the company to identify bankruptcy risks) and ‘Pre-bankruptcy settlement of Disputes’ (a complex of measures for bankruptcy prevention and retaining of business) should be mentioned.
Besides that, Dmitry regularly speaks at various conferences, summits, and forums on bankruptcy matters, in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Kazan.
In the last few years, Alexey Gorodissky, apart from his main focus area, i.e. ‘Corporate Law/M&A’, provided his strategic guidance in various bankruptcy projects, participated in disputes over imposition of liability (including secondary one) over owners and heads of companies, and in deals contesting and protection cases.
The ‘PRObankruptcy Leaders. Personal Rating of Lawyers’ works not just as an instrument for assessment but also as an education project for the market: the quality of applications is improving, as their number is growing and this allows for maintaining the entry bar on the same level without artificial tightening or mitigating of the requirements.
Rating’s statistics:
This research has been conducted for three years now, within two of which the flow of applications increased by 40%, and in 2025 their number increased by 347. However, the share of those who were admitted for participation in the rating remained practically unchanged: about 69–70% each year. 239 lawyers entered the 2025 final rating.
Though, according to the Fedresurs (the Unified Federal Register of Legally Significant Information Regarding Activities of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs, and Other Economic Entities), in 2025 the number of company bankruptcy proceedings in the RF reduced, the legal services market in the bankruptcy sphere demonstrated sustainable growth. This trend is shown by the data of lawyers’ individual rating ‘PRObankruptcy Leaders’: considerable lawyers’ projects experience, increase in values of the projects implemented by professionals, and substantial achievements of lawyers in the development of regulation of the sector.
The 2025 Personal Rating clearly determined not only each lawyer’s level but also the changes in the market structure as such. In that year it became especially noticeable that the number of projects reduced but they became larger, more complicated and concentrated with a limited circle of teams. Therefore, it is obvious that the market progresses to a more mature phase and the rating, in its turn, helps market participants to navigate in those changes.
